Groceries to Go is a dedicated initiative by the Des Moines Area Food Bank, serving the Kent, WA area and designed to provide essential food assistance to seniors and individuals with health conditions that prevent them from visiting the food bank in person, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. Our service allows you to conveniently order nutritious emergency food at any point during the week, with orders accepted until midnight each Monday. Food distribution occurs every Tuesday afternoon, where you can select a 10-minute pickup window for your convenience. Once you arrive, we ensure your shopping cart filled with your chosen food items is ready and waiting for you, making the process as smooth as possible. If you're visiting us for the first time, we will assist you with necessary paperwork upon your arrival.
