Kristin Olson, PhD, is a dedicated clinical psychologist specializing in working with children of all ages and their families. She particularly enjoys supporting children from birth through five years old, as well as teenagers, which allows her to collaborate closely with caregivers. During the initial session, Kristin takes the time to understand the unique dynamics of each child and family, enabling her to tailor the most effective treatment plan to meet their specific needs. She has a passion for assisting toddlers and teenagers as they navigate their main developmental focus on independence, which can often lead to challenges like defiance or tantrums. Additionally, she is committed to helping children and their families overcome various traumas and stressors they may face. With a post-doctoral fellowship centered on adoption, she brings valuable expertise to her practice. Beyond therapy, Kristin also conducts psychological assessments addressing areas such as academic difficulties, ADHD, autism, behavioral issues, and emotional concerns.
