Sheila Keenan is an experienced Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding an MSW and LICSW, who has been supporting individuals since her graduation from the Smith College School for Social Work in 1997. With a compassionate approach, Sheila understands that everyone faces overwhelming challenges that can test their coping abilities. She views therapy as a collaborative journey, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to openly discuss their struggles. Sheila specializes in helping adults, adolescents, children, and couples navigate a range of issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, and trauma. Utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR, she aims to empower her clients by identifying strengths and developing effective coping strategies. With her culturally sensitive approach, Sheila is dedicated to making positive changes in the lives of those she works with.
