Nancy Bell is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a wealth of experience as a high school counselor, family therapist, and lawyer. Trained in object relations theory, she adopts a flexible and practical approach to therapy. Nancy provides a deep therapeutic experience that fosters enduring change and growth, while also equipping her patients with strategies to manage immediate concerns, offering them relief throughout their journey of transformation. She believes that early experiences and attachments shape an individual's self-perception, relationship dynamics, and outlook on life. Nancy's goal is to guide her patients towards developing healthier ways of relating to others and achieving greater autonomy. Her areas of expertise include relationship issues, eating disorders, family conflict, mood disorders, academic and career decisions, intergenerational family issues, trauma, infertility and pregnancy loss, as well as navigating life-cycle events such as marriage, aging, and loss. Nancy holds a certificate in family therapy from the Family Institute of Philadelphia and has been expanding her knowledge in object relations therapy under the guidance of Paul Koehler at the Philadelphia Psychotherapy Center since 2011.
