Groceries to Go, serving the Auburn, WA community, is a vital program of the Des Moines Area Food Bank designed to provide food assistance to seniors and individuals facing medical challenges that prevent them from visiting the Food Bank safely. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, particularly during these challenging times. Orders can be placed any time throughout the week until midnight on Monday, with food distribution occurring every Tuesday afternoon from 1 PM to 3 PM. Participants can select a convenient 10-minute time slot for pickup, with confirmation sent via text and email. Upon arrival, clients simply notify staff, complete any necessary paperwork for first-time visitors, and receive a shopping cart filled with their chosen food items, making the process efficient and considerate. We are committed to serving our neighbors in Des Moines, Seatac, and the West Hill of Kent, making sure no one faces hunger alone.
