The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Anacortes, WA, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic integrity. Our unique program provides a no-cost opportunity for aspiring Fellows to immerse themselves in organic food system education, where they engage in hands-on learning and community service. Participants cultivate diversified crops, manage community gardens, and develop innovative educational programs that promote ecological literacy and healthy living. Following a six-month experiential study at our farm campus, each Fellow embarks on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to increase access to nutritious food through farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March for this transformative experience, which typically runs from May to October, and join us in creating resilient food systems in our communities.
