MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Wytheville, VA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to provide personalized referrals to various weight management services tailored to individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer managing weight independently, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite utilizing MOVE! resources.
