Taylor Coghill is a dedicated licensed professional counselor who has deep roots in the Virginia Beach area, having lived there her entire life. As an only child of parents who have also spent most of their lives in this community, Taylor embodies a strong connection to her local culture. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2013 and her Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015 from Old Dominion University. With nearly 7 years of experience in the mental health field, Taylor has worked across various settings, including residential, acute inpatient, in-home, and therapeutic day treatment environments. Now embarking on a new chapter in her career, she is excited to establish her private practice. Taylor’s counseling approach typically combines Cognitive-Behavioral Techniques and Person-Centered Techniques; however, she is skilled at adapting her style to suit the individual needs of her clients. With a passion for helping others achieve their goals, Taylor is committed to supporting her clients on their journey toward improved mental health and well-being.
