Brenda Cahill is a compassionate clinical social worker and therapist, proudly serving clients with over 20 years of experience. Although she was raised in New England, Brenda carries a Southern charm in her heart, having enjoyed her mother’s roots in Hampton and cherished summers at the Virginia beaches. As the eldest of six siblings, her family is scattered from Arizona to New Jersey, yet they remain intimately connected. Brenda’s educational journey took her from undergraduate studies at Elon College in North Carolina to earning her Master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University. With life experiences that include living in England and Morocco, as well as recent travels to China and Tibet, she offers a rich perspective to her practice. As a widow, having navigated the complexities of life for over 30 years of marriage, Brenda brings empathy and understanding to her therapeutic approach. She specializes in providing individual and family therapy, working effectively with varied populations, including those facing psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Brenda utilizes a strengths-based approach that empowers clients to harness their capabilities for change. By collaboratively establishing treatment goals, she helps individuals enhance their quality of life, cultivate a positive self-image, and develop healthier coping strategies to reduce stress.
