Feed the Children is dedicated to combating childhood hunger in Spotsylvania, VA, by providing essential food assistance to school children enrolled in the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal Program. Each weekend during the school year, we distribute carefully packed backpacks filled with easy-to-prepare, ready-to-eat foods such as granola bars, juice boxes, canned chicken, ramen noodles, oatmeal, and mac and cheese. Our mission is to ensure that children in our community have access to nutritious meals, allowing them to return to school ready to learn and thrive. We invite families in need to reach out and take advantage of this vital support throughout the school year.
