Elise Angelos is a dedicated licensed professional counselor (LPC) with substantial experience in clinical mental health and addictions both in outpatient and residential environments. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Ohio University, in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Currently, Elise is expanding her expertise as a PhD student in a Counselor Education and Supervision program. Her primary focus areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and substance abuse, where she has effectively worked with both adults and adolescents. Elise's counseling philosophy is rooted in empathy, non-judgment, and a strengths-based approach, empowering her clients to adopt effective thought patterns and coping strategies for managing their challenges. She firmly believes in the potential for positive transformation within everyone, encouraging clients to pursue their individual goals.
