Food Bridge, located in Oakton, VA, is dedicated to providing immediate food assistance to residents facing temporary financial crises. Through our Food Support Program, we accept referrals for individuals in stable housing who need a helping hand. Once a referral is approved, clients can visit our office to receive a one-time emergency food pack filled with non-perishable items and essential toiletries, such as laundry detergent, toilet paper, and diapers. Additionally, we provide a grocery store gift card to help alleviate their current predicament while they work with their social worker towards stability. This program is specifically designed for Fairfax County residents and requires a referral from a social worker or another qualified agent. If someone is in need of a referral but doesn't have a social worker, they can reach out to Coordinated Services Planning for guidance.
