Karen Hahn, LCSW-C, MSW, is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist who provides compassionate support to clients of all ages, including preteens, children, teens, toddlers, and adults. Her work with adults often focuses on addressing trauma history, depression, anxiety, grief, relational issues, and somatic symptoms that lack a medical explanation. Karen also supports healthcare providers and first responders who have faced increased stress during the COVID crisis. For her younger clients, she specializes in navigating challenges such as trauma history, adoption, emotional dysregulation, school refusal, and family transitions. Karen employs a strengths-based approach to psychotherapy, fostering a sense of hope, resilience, and empowerment in her clients. She creates a safe environment that is infused with kindness, empathy, and humor. Karen has undergone specialized training in Trauma-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy. Recognizing that individuals are multidimensional, she adopts a holistic biopsychosocial–spiritual perspective in her practice. Understanding the courage it takes for parents to seek help for their children, sharpen their parenting skills, or improve family dynamics, Karen believes that it truly takes a village to raise a child and feels honored to be a part of that journey.
