At the Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Home Delivered Meals Program in Locust Grove, VA, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance to adults aged 60 and over who face challenges in preparing meals due to illness, disability, or frailty. Our mission is to ensure that our clients receive nutritious, frozen meals that are thoughtfully crafted to meet specific dietary needs, with low sugar and salt options available. We also prioritize a respectful and supportive approach, requiring participants to complete an assessment with our caring Support Coordinator Staff to determine eligibility. The service encompasses not only meal delivery but also the assurance that our clients' basic nutritional needs are met with dignity and care. To further support our program, we graciously accept donations, with envelopes provided at the time of meal delivery, allowing the community to play a vital role in our mission to nourish and empower.
