The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Haymarket, VA, is dedicated to improving the health of low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as children under the age of five. Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, our program offers critical food assistance through supplemental nutritious foods like cheese, eggs, peanut butter, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Alongside providing emergency food resources, we are committed to delivering comprehensive nutrition education through individual and group counseling sessions. WIC also supports breastfeeding and connects families to essential healthcare services such as immunizations and dental care. We invite eligible residents of Virginia to join our program to enhance healthy outcomes for their families by attending an appointment and bringing necessary documentation such as proof of income, identification, and residency.
