At Good News Community Kitchen in Haymarket, VA, our Emergency Meal Units program is dedicated to offering essential food assistance to families facing urgent food insecurity. We understand the challenges that come with food scarcity, and our mission is to provide immediate support through our carefully assembled emergency meal kits. Each unit is designed to meet basic nutritional needs and includes a 1lb bag of rice, two cans of beans, and 1lb of wholesome old-fashioned oats. If you are experiencing food insecurity, we invite you to fill out our online form to request your emergency meal unit. Once registered, families will receive a meal kit every two weeks to ensure they have access to the nourishment they need. A valid state-issued identification card is required for registration. We are here to help you and your family during difficult times, providing nourishment and care when you need it most.
