Feed the Children is dedicated to combating food insecurity among school children in Fredericksburg, VA, by providing essential food assistance through our backpack program. Each weekend, we supply ready-to-eat meals, including nutritious items like granola bars, juice boxes, canned proteins, and convenience foods, to children participating in the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal Program at Spotsylvania County schools. Over the course of the school year, we ensure these young individuals have access to meals for 38 weekends, helping to alleviate hunger and support their well-being. Together, we are building a healthier future for our community's youth.
