Vanessa Steffens is a dedicated resident in counseling with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida State University. Originally from Florida, Vanessa has developed a profound passion for helping others, ensuring that her clients feel heard and understood. Her educational journey at Marymount has equipped her with diverse therapeutic techniques grounded in Gestalt theory, Experiential theory, and Somatic Psychotherapy. She has effectively supported clients grappling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, past trauma, stress, and grief. Currently practicing under the supervision of Charlie Clark, NCC, LPC, Vanessa is also an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Recognizing that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, Vanessa is committed to offering supportive counseling to aid individuals in navigating their challenges.
