Kira Mantell is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with an MSW and LCSW, who passionately engages in her practice every day. She creates a nurturing environment where individuals can feel safe to explore and grow. Understanding that everyone faces life’s challenges, Kira recognizes how these experiences can lead to stress, confusion, discomfort, and emotional pain. With her guidance, therapy becomes a pathway to navigate through these challenges towards a more peaceful and fulfilling life journey. After graduating from NYU, she gained invaluable experience in the behavioral health sector on Long Island. Her professional journey as a traveling therapist has enriched her practice, allowing her to support refugees and survivors of genocide, aid individuals impacted by the opioid crisis in West Virginia, and serve the Lakota Sioux community through Indian Health Services. Kira’s wealth of experience has equipped her to understand and empathize deeply with her clients, especially in the wake of collective traumas like COVID-19 and the events of 9/11. She is acutely aware of the emotional struggles clients may face, including substance misuse and co-occurring disorders such as depression, anxiety, and self-harming behaviors. Kira sees her clients, hears their stories, and is genuinely present to support them on their journey.
