Audrey Denkler is a compassionate mental health professional whose practice centers around children, individuals, couples, and families. She aims to provide her clients with a safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space to delve into their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, ultimately fostering more effective coping and problem-solving skills for enhanced intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. As a person-centered counselor, Audrey tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client at the start of their counseling journey. Utilizing an array of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and family systems theory, she addresses clients in a holistic manner. With clinical experience supporting individuals managing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relational challenges, trauma, sexual health, OCD, life stressors and transitions, and issues surrounding sexuality and identity—including support for veterans and their families—Audrey demonstrates her versatile skill set. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Having previously studied psychology and public health at American University, her mission is to cultivate a welcoming therapeutic environment for clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems.
