Amy Clay is a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience in private practice. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate various issues, including anxiety, panic disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, and relationship challenges. With a specialization in women’s issues such as pregnancy, perinatal mood disorders, and sexuality, Amy is deeply committed to guiding new moms and couples through their unique experiences. Her expertise extends to couples work, including premarital counseling, navigating parenthood, repairing relationships post-affair, and managing intimacy challenges. As a trained IMAGO therapist, she incorporates diverse therapeutic approaches, ensuring a tailored experience for each couple. Currently completing Brené Brown's Daring Way training, Amy is also a Certified Daring Way Facilitator Clinician-Candidate. Additionally, she is working towards her AASECT certification as a sex therapist. A co-owner of Sunstone Counseling, Amy not only serves her clients but also dedicates time to training fellow counseling professionals and supervising Residents in Counseling.
