Fair Winds is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Equine Specialist, who understands that each phase of development presents unique challenges for children and adolescents. Mental health conditions, developmental delays, trauma, and even routine changes such as transitioning between schools can create obstacles for young individuals and their families. This can lead to escalated behaviors, strained relationships, and declining academic performance. Many children and adolescents resist traditional talk therapy, which is where Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) comes into play. EFP combines effective therapy techniques with the interactive partnership between clients and their horse partners. With over 18 years of experience, Fair Winds has worked with a diverse range of concerns, including autism, behavioral difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and ODD. Fair believes that life challenges are valuable opportunities for growth, and that every individual possesses the innate ability and resilience needed to conquer adversity.
