Terri Higgins is aLicensed Professional Counselor (LPC) whose therapeutic approach is centered around Internal Family Systems, an insightful method that effectively addresses conflict, trauma, and defenses, fostering self-empowerment, self-compassion, and healing. She believes in the counseling process as a collaborative partnership, enabling individuals to gain deeper self-understanding. Terri respects the protective patterns clients have developed over time while gently helping them dismantle the barriers that hinder their true selves. Utilizing EMDR, she addresses both historical and recent trauma, making her practice inclusive for children and adolescents facing emotional challenges at school or home.
