Nicole Maniglia Alestock is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's degree in Education, having graduated from George Washington University in 2008. With extensive experience as a Special Educator and School Counselor, she understands that individuals cope with stressors in unique ways. Her mission is to guide clients—ranging from preteens and teens to adults—in developing effective coping strategies for life's challenges. Nicole is well-acquainted with the difficulties faced by today's youth and their families and is dedicated to partnering with clients to establish personal therapeutic goals. During sessions, she employs a variety of approaches including Eclectic Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her specialties encompass anger and stress management, behavioral issues, bereavement, family dynamics, conflict resolution, coping with disabilities, depression, divorce, social anxiety, self-esteem, and social skills.
