At Warehouse Food Distribution in Burke, VA, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income individuals and families facing food insecurity. Our mission is to deliver nutritious emergency food to those in need, offering boxes that contain enough supplies to support families for three to five days. We partner with the USDA to provide a food program that distributes essential nutrients twice a month, featuring a selection of canned and dried goods to complement other food sources. Eligibility for our USDA food program is determined by household income, and we invite first-time visitors to complete an application. Additionally, we offer an Emergency Food Program that requires a referral from a County Social Worker. Residents of Fairfax County can reach out to Fairfax Coordinated Services for assistance. Each referral allows one visit, with a cap of eight referrals per year, ensuring that we can help as many families as possible throughout our community.
