Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization located in Bassett, VA, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and find their identity. Our comprehensive, free 3 Step program serves women and children in the Northern VA, DC, and MD areas, offering essential resources such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition training, daily life skills, financial education, computer classes, and a robust support network. Through our workshops, participants explore critical topics like the roots and impacts of domestic violence, the reasons women often remain silent, and steps toward healing relationships while discovering God's purpose for their lives. Additionally, our After Care Program addresses spiritual, emotional, and practical needs, providing vital workshops on life skills management, nutrition, and access to referral networks for housing, childcare, and employment assistance—all while ensuring childcare is available. Sessions are held quarterly, accommodating up to 50 women and 15 children per workshop, creating a nurturing environment for those seeking lasting change.
