The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in West Jordan, UT, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system by empowering individuals to become impactful educators and advocates. Our program offers a comprehensive, hands-on experience in organic food systems, providing Fellows with the knowledge and tools to grow and distribute diverse crops through community-driven initiatives. We emphasize the integration of food and ecological literacy within educational settings, support local farmers markets, and develop robust distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. This Fellowship is tuition-free, ensuring accessibility for all applicants. Selected Fellows engage in a transformative six-month experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills with regional non-profit organizations. Applications are accepted until March for an enriching experience running from May through October.
