Based in Salt Lake City, UT, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to provide accessible and tailored solutions for obesity by annually screening every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities. Participants are guided towards appropriate weight management options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. Additionally, for those who prefer a self-managed approach, we provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app. For Veterans who may require further assistance, we also offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
