Janet Wilson is a highly respected Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Clinical Director of 4 Healing Center, boasting over 28 years of experience in helping children, adolescents, and adults achieve their therapeutic goals. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah, where she also served as a Crisis Intervention Specialist in the Emergency Room and as a Mental Health Examiner for Salt Lake County. Currently EMDR Certified and recognized as an EMDR Consultant, Janet is also a Trauma Recovery (HAP) and Institute Facilitator. She has demonstrated her expertise in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and is a Certified Crisis Counselor for the State of Utah, specializing in complex trauma-focused therapy. Janet incorporates a systems perspective in her therapeutic practice, employing a diverse range of evidence-based techniques tailored to her clients' needs. Additionally, she works alongside a Canine Companions Facility dog, enhancing the therapeutic environment for her clients.
