Agueda Skinner is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist, holding an MSW and LCSW, who understands that even the most capable and resilient individuals can face challenges requiring professional guidance. She provides high-quality care for people seeking assistance in developing coping strategies to navigate stress and life’s challenges. With extensive clinical experience, Agueda helps individuals find relief from symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma, while assisting in the reshaping of negative thought patterns that can be self-defeating. Her goal is to increase clients' confidence and motivation through therapeutic interventions. Agueda is trained in EMDR, DBT, CPTT, and various evidence-based treatments that facilitate rapid recovery. Her specialized training includes working with victims of sexual betrayal, particularly those affected by partners who are sex addicts. Agueda's educational foundation includes a degree in Transpersonal Therapy from the University of Utah in 2002 and her Master of Social Work earned in 2004. She has also held significant roles as a therapist at the University of Utah's Employee Assistance Program, Utah Youth Village, IHC, and Primary Children’s.
