Roy, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Roy, UT, is dedicated to nurturing tomorrow's advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to engage in organic food system education and hands-on experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus. Over a six-month immersive residency, participants will learn to cultivate and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education, maintain vibrant school and community gardens, and promote food literacy in schools. Our Fellowship is designed to be accessible, with no tuition fees, ensuring that passionate individuals from all backgrounds can contribute to community food efforts. Following the residency, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to enhance access to healthy food, support farmers markets, and mentor future cohorts. We welcome applications until March each year, with experiences offered from May to October.
