Kathy Jones is a dedicated mental health professional who graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Russian Language and Literature. She then earned a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. With a deep commitment to providing care where it's needed most, she was honored to receive the prestigious Federal Health Provider Shortage Area (HPSA) grant, allowing her to practice family medicine in Maui, Hawaii for several years. Upon returning to her home state of Utah, Kathy recognized her true passion for mental health, having cultivated this focus during her time as a primary care provider in Maui. Her philosophy centers on the belief that the most transformative healing occurs when individuals address their mind and soul alongside their physical health. Kathy has garnered extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, particularly in supporting adolescents and children with mental health challenges. She balances an evidence-based approach with holistic methodologies, ensuring she stays updated on current practices in order to provide the highest quality of care for her patients.
