East Mountain Therapy is led by Tim Jindra, a licensed clinical mental health counselor dedicated to creating a sanctuary for healing and recovery. With 14 years of experience in diverse treatment settings, he spent a significant portion of his career—10 years—at Cirque Lodge, a renowned residential program addressing substance abuse, addictions, and various mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. Tim is an active member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and is a staunch advocate for individuals grappling with mental health disorders. His extensive background encompasses working with couples, families, and adolescents, placing a strong focus on those struggling with mood disorders, addictions, marital and family conflicts, and PTSD. Notably, he has provided support to numerous combat veterans and their families, enhancing their resilience and recovery. In addition to therapy, he offers consultation, case management, and outpatient services tailored to individual needs. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tim has a lifelong affiliation with the mountains, cherishing their restorative energy from childhood visits to Colorado. Now residing in Provo, Utah, he delights in the opportunity to practice in such a breathtaking environment.
