Marisa Mcpeck-Stringham is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and therapist who has always been passionate about helping others. As a fierce advocate for client empowerment, she believes in promoting positive mental health and facilitating transformative 'ah-ha' moments. Marisa is committed to guiding her clients towards self-discovery, self-compassion, and radical self-acceptance. With an approach grounded in cultural humility, Marisa serves as an ally to marginalized communities. Her professional background encompasses adoption casework, child abuse prevention, medical social work, and trauma-informed counseling for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. She has also dedicated five years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, working with children aged 18 months to 12 years. Marisa employs a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including Eclectic, Person-Centered, Emotionally Focused, Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and works with individuals, families, and groups to address issues such as ADHD, trauma and PTSD, and depression.
