Jody Sargent, LCSW, MSW, MRC, LVRC, is a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist who has dedicated her career to advocating for children and their families. With a deep belief that every individual deserves to be heard, Jody works diligently to ensure her clients feel acknowledged while empowering them with valuable coping skills to navigate life's challenges. She emphasizes the importance of finding one's voice and expressing it to those around them. Given the contemporary complexities of life, Jody continually seeks knowledge and is well-trained in an array of therapeutic modalities including play therapy, trauma-focused care, EMDR, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as approaches tailored for the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, she brings expertise in trauma-informed play therapy, rehabilitation counseling for neurodivergent populations, and offers guidance for domestic violence situations, as well as divorce and parenting coaching. Jody's experience also includes forensic interviewing, further enhancing her ability to work with court-involved individuals.
