Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants gain hands-on knowledge while actively engaging in projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing health-focused educational initiatives, and supporting community gardens. Following this, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to apply their learning and advance healthy food access. Through collaboration and mentorship, we strive to create a just food system that uplifts communities and promotes ecological stewardship. Applicants should complete their submission by March to kickstart their journey from May to October each year.
