The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Wylie, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children at risk of nutrition-related challenges. Each month, clients receive benefits to purchase nutritious foods, including iron-fortified infant formula, a variety of cereals, fresh juice, milk, eggs, cheese, beans, and peanut butter, which are essential for healthy growth. Additionally, WIC connects families with various health and social services for comprehensive support. Eligibility is determined by income guidelines and nutritional risk assessments, making WIC accessible to pregnant women, new mothers, and parents of children under five in Texas. We invite those in need to visit us and apply in person for these vital services that nourish both body and spirit.
