Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

Located in Wylie, TX, the Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children at nutritional risk. Our core mission is to empower families through education about proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. WIC offers personalized nutrition counseling and engaging classes tailored for families, including support for fathers and guardians. Essential services include breastfeeding assistance, where we provide valuable resources, encouragement, and even free breast pumps. Each month, WIC participants receive food benefits that help them access a variety of nutritious groceries, including iron-fortified infant formula, cereal, juice, milk, eggs, and more. By connecting clients with vital health and social services, WIC aims to foster holistic well-being for families in our community. Families who meet income guidelines and reside in Texas are encouraged to apply for our supportive services in person. Together, we can ensure that every child gets the healthy start they deserve.
