Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Weslaco, TX, is dedicated to empowering families with limited income through hands-on nutrition education and food safety classes. Our interactive lessons cover essential topics such as basic nutrition, budget-friendly shopping, simple food preparation, and food safety, all while emphasizing the importance of physical activity. By offering materials in both English and Spanish, we strive to ensure our community has access to practical, research-based information tailored to their needs. We welcome groups of at least 10 individuals, fostering a supportive environment for learning and growth.
