Crisis Assistance, located in Weatherford, TX, is a compassionate, Christ-centered ministry committed to breaking the cycle of poverty in Parker County. Our array of services begins with our well-stocked food pantry, which offers a variety of groceries, including canned goods, frozen meats, fresh produce, and dairy items, sourced from Tarrant County Food Bank, local food drives, and generous community contributions. Families can shop for groceries tailored to their needs and enjoy hot meals served from Monday to Thursday. We provide short-term crisis assistance through a thorough interview process to assess income and expenses, enabling us to create personalized Plans of Action. While we do not impose strict income limits, we offer essential financial assistance for utility bills and help clients navigate their financial situations through targeted education and support. In addition to food assistance, we also address healthcare needs, offering help with prescriptions and minor emergency co-payments, along with our Kingdom Smiles dental program, which aids clients facing urgent dental issues. By requiring clients to contribute a portion for dental services, we empower them to take charge of their healing journey. Our mission is to provide the necessary resources and education to help families achieve stability, build their futures, and overcome the barriers of generational poverty.
