Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Waxahachie, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, and young children at risk of nutrition-related health issues. Each month, participants receive benefits to purchase nutritious foods, such as iron-fortified infant formula, cereal, milk, and fresh fruits and vegetables, tailored to their specific needs. WIC is available for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers with babies under a year, and parents or guardians of children under five. Eligibility is based on income and nutritional risk.
