MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Waxahachie, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our program prioritizes the screening of every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring personalized referrals to a range of weight management options that align with the unique needs of each individual. We offer a variety of services, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! system that provides in-home messaging and clinician support as required. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist Veterans in managing their weight effectively. Additionally, for Veterans who face challenges despite participating in MOVE!, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
