Ellen Vallejo is a native of the Victoria area, having grown up in Edna. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Certificate in Therapy and Development from Lamar University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice. Before transitioning into the therapy field, Ellen dedicated several years to teaching elementary school in Victoria. Her clinical work focuses on empowering trauma survivors to overcome their past and equipping them with the necessary tools for a happy and healthy future. Since 2017, she has gained valuable experience providing trauma-focused treatment to children, adolescents, and their families within the child advocacy center setting. Ellen is nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is also trained in EMDR. Outside of her professional commitments, Ellen enjoys quality time in her backyard with her family and watching movies. As a lifelong learner, she is committed to continuous professional development and has a passion for educating others about mental health and trauma.
