Located in Victoria, TX, General Assistance is dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need through a diverse range of essential services. We offer emergency food assistance, ensuring that our neighbors have access to nutritious meals, along with basic needs supplies such as toilet tissue, shampoo, and oral care products delivered monthly based on family size. Our Family Closet provides free clothing to those who require it, while our medical equipment program helps distribute walkers, canes, and crutches based on availability. Additionally, we provide financial assistance for overdue natural gas and water bills, as well as non-narcotic prescription medications, depending on available funds. For residents requiring travel for medical appointments, we also offer gas vouchers with proof of appointment.
