Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

Located in Tyler, TX, the Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of at-risk pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and young children. Our mission is to empower families through personalized nutrition education, offering individual counseling and engaging classes designed to support healthy habits. We provide vital breastfeeding support, including free breast pumps and essential tips to help mothers succeed. Each month, eligible clients benefit from nutritious food packages that include iron-fortified infant formula, cereals, fresh fruits and vegetables, and more. WIC focuses not only on nutrition but also connects families with various health and social services to ensure comprehensive support. To qualify, applicants must meet specific income guidelines and demonstrate nutritional needs, regardless of employment or private insurance status. We encourage parents, guardians, and caretakers of children under five to reach out, as all services are available by appointment.
