Meals on Wheels Program

In Tomball, TX, the Meals on Wheels Program, part of Northwest Assistance Ministries, is dedicated to ensuring that seniors and homebound neighbors receive vital food assistance through the delivery of hot, nutritious meals. Our mission focuses on promoting independence and improving health for those unable to leave their homes due to disability or illness, with more than 500 dedicated volunteers delivering meals six days a week. Each weekday, eligible participants receive well-balanced meals, with special Saturday options available for some, while our Senior Food program offers monthly grocery deliveries to those struggling with food costs. Beyond nourishment, our volunteers provide companionship and support, checking in on the well-being of clients to foster a sense of community. For individuals seeking additional help, our case managers connect them with essential services, ensuring comprehensive care that extends beyond just meals. With a focus on neighbors helping neighbors, we strive to create a caring and supportive environment for all our participants.
