Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in The Colony, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of infants, children, and mothers during pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding. With a strong commitment to fostering well-being, WIC offers a variety of services including personalized nutrition education tailored for families, support for breastfeeding mothers including access to free breast pumps, and access to nutritious food benefits that help families shop for items such as iron-fortified infant formula, fruits, vegetables, milk, and more. Open to pregnant women, new mothers, and guardians of children under five, WIC aims to serve those at nutritional risk, prioritizing families with incomes below 185 percent of the federal poverty level. In addition to nutritional support, WIC connects clients with vital health and social services. Application is required in person, and we warmly welcome all those in need to join us on the path to healthier futures.
