Nicks Mission Backpack Program

Nicks Mission Backpack Program is dedicated to ensuring that school children in Texarkana, TX, have access to nutritious food and snacks every weekend and during school holidays, including extended breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. Our program provides backpacks filled with easy-to-open meals, allowing children to nourish themselves with dignity and care. Each week, empty backpacks are returned and refilled, ensuring a discreet distribution process that keeps each child's identity confidential. At the end of the school year, the children are invited to keep their backpacks as a symbol of support and empowerment. We believe in making a tangible difference in the lives of our young community members by addressing food assistance needs with compassion and urgency.
