With a fierce dedication to helping and advocating for survivors of child sexual abuse, rape, dating and domestic violence, as well as cancer, she embodies the spirit of resilience. Nakia's mission is to transform the narrative for survivors, particularly those of color, who often endure in silence due to family traditions and societal pressures. As a trauma recovery coach, Nakia walks alongside her clients, providing advocacy and the essential tools needed for trauma recovery. She guides them in rebuilding their lives, regaining their sense of wholeness, standing confidently on their own feet, and reconnecting with the world after a period of disconnection. Nakia sees her clients, values their experiences, and deeply cares for their journeys. No one has to bear the weight of their struggles alone; Nakia is committed to supporting them in reaching their recovery goals and will steadfastly stand by their side through even the most challenging moments. Together, they will embark on a path of healing that transforms lives.
