Donna Marie Henscheid

Donna Marie Henscheid is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for guiding adolescents and adults on their journeys of self-discovery, empowering them to become the best versions of themselves. Recognizing the challenges that life presents, she believes these obstacles offer valuable opportunities for growth. Donna utilizes a wide range of therapeutic tools, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to support her clients as they navigate the complexities of past experiences, current hurdles, and future aspirations. With twenty-five years of experience in special education, she has had the privilege of collaborating with parents, teachers, and students, enriching her ability to address various relational, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral issues, such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and trauma. Holding a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, Donna is dedicated to providing an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard. This commitment fosters a trusting relationship that helps her clients push through difficulties, enabling them to transform their challenges into meaningful growth.
